Our baby's passport took 8 weeks to arrive. 4/5 stars as staff on the phone told my partner the wrong information (they claimed that our application was incorrect and they'll have to send it back, but they didn't need to do that in the end). I would recommend keeping the application number as it is easier to obtain updates over the phone.

Overall, a good service!

My nicest visa experience to date. It was quick, and the lady attending me was so nice, friendly, and polite. I have applied for visa in several countries and they always look for mistakes in your application, but I did not sense anything like it during my application here. The lady was so lovely, everything was quick and no frills. Thank you.

Very disappointed in the services provided by this embassy. It has been over 2 weeks since I sent in my application and have had no help or communication apart from being told that they had a technical error on their side but could not resolve it. Every time I tried to call and enquire on updates I was cut off and told to try later. I could never speak to an actual operator. As a result of this poor poor service I have had to cancel my flight and all business plans that I had. Extremely unimpressed with them and think they should be disgraced!! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Terrible service for citizens - when you call the embassy there are specific options to talk to staff members, despite selecting the appropriate options the call is ended by a voice recording. When you select to speak to an operator the call is also ended. No matter the option you select the call is unduly ended. So much for automation improving the user experience.

I'm trying to sort out my passport. Passport office is closed indefinitely. Went to the embassy in the hope they'd be able to help. Was met with one of the rudest people I've had the misfortune to encounter. She seemed really annoyed I interrupted her phone call. I wasn't given a name when I asked and was told when I explained my story that if I wanted my passport sorted I had to come to her. She took my info to send to a team. 2 weeks later haven't heard a thing. Not exactly professional or inspiring.

Unfortunately the unfriendly and unhelpful lady at the reception represents this embassy. She was very patronising when she figured English wasn’t my first language even though I probably have better language skills than her.

Typical behaviour towards visa applicants, very frustrating being treated like nobody. We’re all professionals living abroad (including her) and trying to get somewhere to visit family or friends.

I went to the Irish Embassy with low expectations in solving my predicament. The exact opposite happened. Vanessa on the desk was one of the nicest, politest and most officiant government employees I have had the pleasure of meeting. Thanks Vanessa.
