Lovely building in extremely central location. Worth visiting should you ever get an invite.
Photos are of Her Majesty's carriage bringing a newly appointed Polish Ambassador after his visit to the Queen to present Letters of Credence.

BOOKING SYSTEM IS A SCAM. No available appointments since 5th July and I'm checking every day!!! The service here is horrendous and their booking system doesn't work. I'm on week 9 of trying to book a passport appointment and there are no available dates. The staff tells me that the appointments disappear within second. How many do you offer??? 1???? Avoid at all cost, it's a joke.

When I read the reviews I was dreading going to the embassy. But the service was excellent. Visa lady was so kind and advising people what they needed for their application. Now privacy doesn't happen in most visa processing places, they have a counter like every where else. However, the queue to pick up the passport took forever, this was due to other applicants not bringing the right documents that day. How do I know this, we heard it all. Great security staff overall wonderful 👍.

That is absolutely a joke...
They think they are a pop start not just a official to serve the people.
Last few days exactly at 9am and 8pm trying to book a visit!!!!!
What means all dates are booked????
Is not my job steering in the computer YOU ARE PAID for us to be able to arrange the necessary things required by law.... Shocking !!!

Absolute nightmare. If you're lucky enough to get an appointment, which often takes several months, the waiting time is terrible. It's a pain getting to the embassy if you live far from London. You wait at the embassy for ages to get called up (depending on the time of day you're there) and service is just unbelievable. Such strict rules and regulations. I've been struggling to get my daughter a passport for almost a year. First we needed a specific name on the letter, then they said her surname was wrong, which it wasn't! The exact same written as it was on the last passport. Unbelievable, so much time and money wasted.

The pleasant sounding young woman's voice message encourages you to think you are in good hands. Haha! From then on, it is unfortunately downhill.... No matter which 'option' you choose, good luck trying to get anyone to answer. After reading a few other reviews, my experience is clearly not isolated. Does anyone at the Embassy read the reviews? Apparently not as there is no "Apologies for the poor service... we are looking into this... we are retraining our staff". Perhaps this dates back to when Poland was under communist rule and there was no such thing as a 'service industry'. It is 2023! Time to move on!

This place is a disgrace !! I waited 3 months for my appointment and another 2 for my passport. My new biometric passport is faulty and the chip does not work !!!!! I was told at the airport that it's a technical fault and I must go the queue where everyone else goes and every time explaining why I did not use the e-gates.

There are no words to describe just how appalingly bad this institution is. Making a passport appointment is next to impossible due to their horendous online system of booking whereby a handful of placesxis released every day (if at all) for which hundreds if not thousands of people are forced to somehow fight. They tend to be gone in seconds, and I mean under 10 seconds based on my experience. From
what I have read, this seems to be the case for a few years now. I understand that sometimes a new system is introduced that turns out to be a really bad idea but what normally happens is that the system is either completely scrapped or at least improved. The embassy seems to have learned nothing from what must by now be thousands of complaints. Dear embassy staff, it is your job to look after the interests of the citizens of your country in the UK. It’s about time you started DOING YOUR JOB!
