ASL 24/7 Emergency Locksmiths, Door Replacement & Burglary Repairs

Had my steel door installed from ASL yesterday, and after much delay due to covid i'm very pleased with it. I’ve just moved into an apartment and wanted a door that was more secure, fire rated and would allow me to retain the existing appearance on the outside of the door whilst matching my new internal doors as part of my refurbishment. ASL came out very quickly to do the survey and were very helpful in getting exactly what i wanted in terms of matching to the existing door on both the outside and my internal doors inside.

This door is expensive! there’s no getting away from that. However, its without doubt a quality door that provides a significant security upgrade, and peace of mind that provides. This was also the only door on the market I could find that was made from steel, fire rated (had to be as I live in an apartment) and allowed a different design on both sides of the door (also a requirement to keep external appearance the same).

Its really finished off my refurbishment and I’d definitely recommend for anyone in an apartment who will have similar requirements which another door won’t meet.

The service was efficient however we were charged £300 for replacing a door handle. Wish we knew the price prior.

Update and rely to the serive provider’s rely:
As mentioned, the service was efficient. All I‘m saying is we should have checked the price prior. A bit more details:
1. The emergency service was called at 6pm and the engineer arrived around 7pm.
2. The service was simply replacing the broken handle to a spare handle (not new) to get in the room. No key replacement

UNRELIABLE - don’t use this company. I booked their services to secure the front of my elderly mother’s flat and then they didn’t even both to tell me they weren’t going to show up. Poor effort!

Rip-off!!!

One of the guy took 164 ponds for an emergency key open service. After that, I received a receipt and i knew that was actually 140 pounds.
Also, when I tried to pay by card, they asked my card number and password. Because they didn’t have payment machine. Fortunately, I had enough cash at that moment, so I just lost 24 pounds but if I didn’t have it and if I paid by card, maybe they stole more.

I highly recommend to use other companies.
