Friendly sweet Shop for Quilters excellent range of fabrics service second to none and a cup of tea or coffee always on offer can't find anywhere better if you don't want to spend leave your purse at home but you will be back purse in hand.

Fabulous shop, selling the most beautiful materials and lots of odds and ends you will need. Pins,needles, threads, jelly rolls etc.
.Always a friendly welcome, help and advice if needed. Always lots of encouragement and positivity. Classes are excellent. Owner Rita is a lovely lady as is Donna who also works there. Absolutely live the place. If you like sewing and quilting...its the place for you!

It was my 1st time in the shop yesterday, I did not know about it. The choice of fabrics is superb. The shop is very well presented. The staff extremely helpful yet at the same time they don't follow you, I was given plenty of time to browse. We were offered cups of tea, it felt more like someone's sitting room. They have a craft room and all is welcome. They were happy for me to take pictures so I could show my son, he said which one and we went back today and brought 6 meters. I will definitely recomend a visit, and I will be back. Debi

So friendly staff. Lovely selection of fabric. Elastic as well. No pushy sales but there if you need help. Refreshments. Bargain cost per metres. Lots of laughter. Might just move north of Spenneymoor!

Great stock of materials, not the cheapest but the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, they also run classes

The best shop in the northeast. I will definitely be visiting Quilters Cupboard again, but until I can get back to the shop I will continue to shop on the Quilter Cupboard website

Fabulous little gem of a store. Great range of fabrics, threads and notions available and the ladies are very helpful and happy to advise. I love visiting and choosing fabrics for my next project.
