Chalk Hill Blue Fabrics

Wonderful shop, fabric heaven. Yes it is crowded with fabrics but it is like an old fashioned bookshop - well worth a bit of effort. The owner was extremely helpful and where else do you get a cup of tea as well as advice and help?

Fabrics are lovely if you can find them. Way too much stock so you can't browse easily. Seems to be totally disorganised but owner has idea of where things are if she's not too busy with classes. Cutting table is covered with more stuff as are all other surfaces. I just want to try and sort it out !!!!!

Unusually extensive range of quilting fabrics. Sheer volume does make it difficult to browse but owner has encyclopaedic knowledge and is extremely helpful. Definitely first stop for any quilting project

Absolutely amazing quality of fabric. I recomend to everyone who is into any type of sewing! The owner of the shop is also very kind and helpful with your choices and decisions. Once you go in there you will think of many other projects to make just so you can use a certain fabric.

An Aladdin's cave of fabric. Nice to find some fabric locally that I can only find stocked in the US. Friendly, helpful owner. Amazing selection.
