Have been here a few times during the summer holidays with my two children and only have positive things to say.

The restaurant area is spacious and clean and you’re always made to feel welcome. Quality of food is great, as is the service from the friendly staff.

Used to serve such amazing food. Treated the kids to a day out after work and the food quality was disgusting. I ordered the equivalent to a toad in the hole but it was the same standard of a cheap sausage and mash ready meal chucked into an over cooked Yorkshire pudding but cost me £10 for that meal. Kids sausages were like cardboard. Huge disappointment for what used to be a 5 star restaurant.

If I could have put 0 stars it would have been too many.
Booked a table for Sunday roast. Arrived and shown to our table, waitress took our order for food and drinks. Drinks were brought out.
1/2 hour later I asked how long the food would be. A response of you should have been made aware of a 45 minute wait, so I said ,the food should be about 15 minutes. It maybe ,fingers crossed came the reply.
After 1 hour enough was enough,so we told the waitress that we were going to leave, amazingly she said" shall I tell the kitchen not to cook your meal". We left and did not pay for drinks.

Had visited in a while and found it wonderful, service was excellent, an allergy folder was provided and the first question was do you have any allergies, well done finally some common sense, and the food cooked as per order, it even came with hot peas, the Cadbury nibbles sundae was outstanding. Well worth a go visit.

We visited recently with my brother and his wife. We booked online and requested a table by the window, but we needn't have worried as we were the only customers in when we arrived. We were warmly greeted at the door and shown to our table by the window.

The waitress came and advised us that there were a number of dishes that were unavailable and then she took our order and the food arrived within 20 minutes, the peas looked a little wrinkly as if they had been sat under the heat lamp for a while, yet they were still quite juicy inside. The meals were very acceptable, just the right amount to fill you without bursting you.

Service overall was very good and efficient, if I was in the area I would be happy to return.

On a note about the facilities, the Disabled toilet facilities are right by the front door, not the one to the rear of the building as that has no disabled facilities and there are a few disabled parking spaces right outside the door.

Had breakfast and evening meal there during our stay at the adjacent premier inn .The restaurant is spacious and the service was good . Food was tasty , well prepared ,hot and reasonably priced .The continental buffet had a good selection and the hot breakfast was delicious.

Booked a table for a friends birthday meal with the plan to go out after. Although it was near Christmas time the restaurant was nowhere being full. The meal was at 7:30pm and only for 4 people. When our drinks order was taken, we were all refused alcohol as one of us was under 18. The other three of us are 20 and even though the 18 year old was only ordering a coke the entire (as she was driving) the rest of us were still refused any alcohol at all as we had someone under 18 at our table. We had all provided ID (even the under 18) and made it clear from the start that she only wanted a coke. Would this be the same for two adults if they had their child with them? After agreeing to soft drinks, we finally had our food order taken around 8:00 pm, half an hour after arrival. At around 9:30pm we had only been given our starters. When our mains did eventually arrive, the roast turkey was missing roast potatoes and a second drinks order we had put in 30 minutes prior hadn’t been put through to the bar. We finished our meals and asked for them to be cleared (which a member of staff made a rude comment of “we only just put them in front of you” as a response). The clearing of our plates then took a further 20 minutes, and our puddings were actually bought out before our plates were cleared. We finally left at 10:30pm, 3 hours after arriving. We had a slight apology for wait times but that’s it and nothing was knocked off our bill despite making it clear we were unhappy and complaining twice. This put a real downer on the night and we ended up just going home. However the food was quite nice so it’s a real shame. Won’t be returning.

Been here a few times this time was OK.

Kids had colour page but all pencils were broken no a huge deal. Also had highchairs. Changing facilities by the front door.

Was nice and clean.
Staff were nice I think they were maby a bit short staff when we were there was slower this time.

Food was fine was there Xmas menu so many courses for so much. Wasn't blown away with the food but it was nice.
Was missing a corn on the cob on the kids food told staff and they apologise but never got extra corn.
We went lunchtime and they had ran out of 2 of the 3 puddings we had ordered. A bit annoyed as they didn't tell us straight away.
But food was fine staff friendly we would go back and try again
