Bar staff had a couldn't be bothered attitude. There was a member of staff not in uniform who also seemed that she couldn't be bothered. Was sat down at a table complaining about having to clean it when we arrived. Half the menu was of as they didn't have any. Food was over cooked when arrived. Mine had an ant crawling over it and my wife had a hair in hers. Didn't get the side dishes we ordered. No apology when I took the food back to the bar. Our son was sick when he got home to. All in all a terrible experience and we won't be going back.

Staff are nice, place looks clean and nice enough. But the food was basic at best and over priced. 18 quid for a mixed grill that was small and inferior to all the competitors in the area in price and quality. Plus, both our orders were wrong. Missing items, wrong meal etc. Rectified quickly mind you. This was all at just passed 12 so it was quiet. so no excuses for the mishaps as far as I'm concerned. Won't be coming back when harvester and even wetherspoons are better.

Great place, great food and the food was actually hot like a proper cooked meal.
The Christmas chicken and ham pie was just the best, rounded off with Christmas pudding and brandy sauce.
Made our day really nice with such nice food and lovely service.
Thank you very much.

Awful experience.

We ordered 2 sirloin steaks, well done and medium, with peppercorn sauce.

Order came and no peppercorn sauce. My steak was medium rare. Totally raw.

We complained, waiter didnt say anything. Just made it done again. There was not any seasoning in steak. No pepper or salt.

Awful experience. At least it was cheap when it was 2 for 1. No way I would pay £15 normal price for that tasteless steak.

No one to seat us when we entered, the lady was flat out on her own, clearing tables, taking orders. Appreciate lack of staff maybe cause for low review.

Would have been good to have the process explained,e.g:
have your cereal, fruit, croissant, tea, etc then I'll take your hot food order.

No alternative to cows milk.

Breakfast came quickly, eggs were on the cool side, the rest was hot.

Place was clean, as we're toilets.
Seats were tired and food stained, could do with being reupholstered.

Ideal if with young ones as they eat free.

Nice enough place to visit but the food is very bland. Whats offered is a decent selection but lacks any real flavour compared to other places that offer pub lunches. The staff were all polite and helpful the only thing letting the place down is the quality of the food. Its not terrible but for the price it should be much better

Don't waste your time and money!

Firstly, the majority of the staff need to learn to smile! (The young gentleman who served us was lovely, polite, and friendly, hence why i've said the majority)

I've given the food a two star as mine wasn't too bad, I had the sweet potato curry (although it wasn't overly warm, and you could tell it had been waiting a while to be served) it was tasty.

My 3 year old son's meal, on the other hand, was absolutely disgusting. I ordered him pasta with corn on the cob. He's a good eater, and even he couldn't stomach it. Again, it looked like it had been sitting there for a while and tasted like tomato soup with an overload of garlic and herbs thrown in. It was supposed to be served with 2 mini corns. However, it only came with one, and that looked like it was cooked yesterday!! I sent the meal straight back, hence why there's no photo. The young gentleman was apologetic and asked if he could get something else, I just asked for a bowl of chips instead. There was no other apology, though, or offer of my money back, etc! Appalling service!! £4.99 for a tiny bowl of chips!!!

My nephew had the fish and chips (pic shown below) that wasn't much better, and clearly, he didn't eat the corn either.
The kids had desert in with their meals - yep, the smallest ice cream ever!!

Stopped at the Premiere Inn booked in at 8pm so was lucky to get a room. Next door was the Brewers Fayre didn't feel like much so had the beef pie which turned out to be just enough a couple of beers and ready for bed. Staff were friendly and helpful COVID restrictions apply during my visit however everything was organised so you didn't really notice.
