Lovely atmosphere and tasty food!

I had to order ahead as I was on a work lunch break so short on time.

They didn’t seem ideally setup for this, but to be fair food didn’t take long at all after we arrived.

Food was amazing quality and freshly made (only gripe was my pie was a tad small).

When we ordered pudding we were told we’d have a long wait as there were customers waiting before us, even though all it took was to put a slice of cake on a plate and let us walk out with it..

Some wasps in the orchard, but not much that can be done about that.

Told they don’t do cooked breakfast which feels like a missed opportunity (they don’t open till 10:30am and it’s not a working farm anymore apparently).

Got told off when bringing my tray back (trying to be helpful), as apparently you take it round the side; appreciation for the effort and a gentle suggestion would have been nice.

Generally a lovely visit and took advantage of the eat out to help our so got it half price, therefore can’t complain too much.

Some tweaks to allow online table booking and food ordering, and instant handing out of simple desserts (with slightly more gracious attitudes from staff), and it would be 5 stars!

The Quiche was the best we have had and the Hot Apple & Ginger is a new favourite that we will be making at home now!! Only wish we'd had enough time to sample some of the lovely looking cakes! 🥮🍰🍥
Next time we are in Salisbury, we will be back!!

Britford FARM SHOP. FARM SHOP. "We are more of a tea room, less of a farm shop" we were told today after a 16 mile round trip to see the BRITFORD FARM SHOP. The tea room was very pleasant and the cakes etc...looked very nice but a shelf of jam is defintely NOT A FARM SHOP.

Pleasant place to stop for coffee on a journey. Friendly staff. We asked for water and they took the trouble to serve it in a jug. We didn't have cake but the selection looked delicious

1 star - would not serve lunch at 2.08 pm (only teas and cakes) despite their website stating “We ARE open: Monday to Friday:
10.30am-2.30pm (Last Orders) - Closing at 3.00pm.”

Can recommend the blue vinny, broccoli and walnut quiche. Yummy. Very generous portion.

Great food, friendly staff. Great latte.

The tomato 🍅 soup was delicious 😋and such banter with the staff too🤩
