Went to Jolly Nice to try out their new hive coffee shop, I asked for a cake that wasn’t available but was on their menu, so instead I got a brownie only to find that it was frozen, I returned this to which I got a reply ‘oh are they still frozen’ so instead I was given another freezing brownie. We drank at a picnic table which was disgustingly dirty, and all of the bins were bursting full and were only attracting wasps.

Lovely visit today. No complaints. Nice food and warm Hut!

One thing that is missing tho is a small play area for children. Just a small swing set for example.....

I had 2 little boys with me and once finished they could have just done with that.
Just an idea....!

I can not fault the produce at all or the customer service. However, I have noticed a complete lack of care shown towards the lovely staff serving at the butcher’s! During the Summer months they do not appear to have any fans to keep them cool and during the winter months there does not appear to be any form of heating in place to ensure a comfortable working environment for all!

Excellent modern farm shop, there's plenty of parking, toilets, the farm shop sells crafts, vegetables, meat, sausages, spreads, pies, farm produce, locally sourced goods, cheese, milk, ice cream etc. There's plenty of stuff to see here, something quite unique here is that they have a drive through for food. They do beef burgers, pulled pork burgers, vegan burgers, fries, shakes, coffee, cakes, doughnuts etc. Prices are reasonable, you can then park near jolly hive which sells soft and hot drinks, cakes, etc. There's lots of bench seating outside, a large enclosed tent if the weather is poor. My pulled pork burger was excellent, the bread was like a panini, the coleslaw was fresh, and the pork was excellent. The skin on triple cooked fries were very good, they were a little oily, but the taste was very good. If you're nearby then you should stop to check it out.

Used the drive through today, and ordered a Beet burger and fries. The service and wait time was fine, but food was not good. The burger was charred (not in a good way) on the ouside, and mushy on the inside. A bit of cabbage slaw was on the burger, the fries has emptied out of the container, and we're scattered in the brown bag, tasted good, but became cold very quickly. Not great, and burger patty inedible.

We live just round the corner but hadn’t visited since lockdown. Just been today and we are massively impressed with how much Jolly Nice has improved since then!
Shout out to the staff member, Jamie, who helped us with a simple misunderstanding with the loyalty card situation as we were turned down for one by a quite unpleasant member of staff behind the counter… Would’ve been 5 stars if it weren’t for that, but safe to say we’ll be back.

Jolly Nice are missing a trick by refusing customers loyalty cards this time of year, they’re losing themselves the opportunity for many new customers such as ourselves - we were drawn in by the loyalty discount for Christmas trees, but it will be the farm and hive shops that keep us coming back! (If Jamie didn’t help us get a loyalty card, we don’t think we’d be coming back)

Great basic veg, farm milk, butcher on site, and fishmonger. Additional treats in cheese, chocolate, cider and wine. Great fire pit and bar. Staff are great, and there are donkeys too!

Drive through was very disappointing and took far too long. Obviously the process needs a lot of refinement. Perhaps consider some basic staff training and ensure that the hut is adequately staffed. All the food should be quick to prepare to ensure a smooth flow of customers.

Such a shame as the products ave very good. I would recommend parking in the car park and going in to the main shop. Drive through is not fit for purpose
