West Country Water Buffalo

We found this place in passing, it is just off the A37 near Yeovil. They have their own herd and all the cheese is made there as well as other products like ice cream (not sampled), the Mozzarella was very good.
Notes:
cheese is not pastured so normal guidelines re very young children and those who are pregnant should be followed, they are very happy to advise in the shop 😊
You can buy cheaper inferior products if you are cooking in bulk so instance...

Saw this whilst out and about and popped back for an ice cream. Oh my goodness it was delicious. There were four of us and we all had a different flavour. Not a single complaint beautiful texture not rock hard like some. Shame we are in a hotel otherwise we would have bought the meat which looked rather tasty!

They may produce Buffalo Milk but the Milk of Human kindness is hard to find here. Upon arrival my wife asked where their toilets were and was told they had none. Upon being informed of her considerable discomfort the woman at the till simply and with no hint of concern repeated her message. Was it not possible for an older lady in difficulty to be directed to the staff facilities? I have no idea what their products are like and never will. I would give zero stars if I could.

Delicious sausages, gluten free available as well as normal. The burgers are fantastic as well. The mozzarella was melt in the mouth. Gift items and various locally sourced products available. Well worth a visit.

Really friendly ladies in the shop. Delicious meat, cheese & ice-cream. We stayed at the caravan/motorhome site which was immaculate. Water tap in-between every pitch. Electric on pitch too. Use your own facilities. Chemical toilet empty point spotless. Only down side was there is nowhere to walk the dog apart from round the fenced off site. The main road outside is too busy to walk or cycle down. No water buffalo to see as they were down on the main farm. No bus stop nearby either.

Gorgeous ice cream, altho more could be made of outside seating area. Wish we could have seen buffaloes but understood they needed to be away from farmshop area, on better Pasture in current dry situation.

Bought some buffalo sausage. Had them grilled and they tasted really good. Having the steaks tomorrow and using the mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes on a pizza. Thank you
