I visited both the cafe and farm shop today for the first time and loved both!
The cafe was great…. I ordered garlic mushrooms and they were delicious.
Patricia was my server and she was excellent! A real credit to the team.
Look forward to returning soon!

Massive car park with disabled spaces right next to the doors means parking and access shouldn’t be an issue.

For the cafe breakfast is served until 1130 with the main lunch menu starting at 1200. We went for lunch and hadn’t booked which was a risk, we got away with it being shown to a table for 4.

On arrival we were greeted enthusiastically by a member of staff and seated straight away. The cafe is large and spacious we liked the fact you don’t feel like you’re sitting on top of people at other tables.

There is extensive outdoor seating, a climbing frame for children and it looked like they were half way through a project to extend some covered outdoor seating as well.

Wifi in the cafe is available but the mobile signal was also great if you can’t bear to be disconnected at the table.

The menu was great with a lot of options available from toasted sandwiches, to sandwiches, to pasta dishes, fish n chips alongside many other options. The drinks menu was just as extensive with a variety of hot chocolates available alongside various coffees, smoothies, milkshakes and the standard fizzy soft drinks.

At the counter there was a great selection of cakes and pastries meaning everyone should find something to eat and drink no matter their mood or occasion as far as I can see.

Service from the staff was excellent, fast efficient, friendly and also very thoughtful about serving requirements based on different preferences and tolerances. Tom was our waiter, excellent service from him!

The food itself was also amazing! I chose to have the turkey and cranberry sandwiches on their home made granary bread which was lovely! My wife had a burger which she adjusted to remove the tomato’s.

I also had the green energiser smoothie which was absolutely amazing, and a mocha.

Afterwards we went into the shop which was excellently stocked. The choice and variety was excellent.

Based on this experience I would totally recommend a visit for a meal in the cafe and also certainly recommend you check out the shop.

Fabulous selection of top quality food in the farm shop. Following my purchases I went to the cafe for a cream tea (fruit scone/jam/clotted cream). This was the best scone I’ve tasted in a very long time, no funny taste like you get with many scones. It had been warmed, was crunchy on the outside and melt-in-the-mouth centre. Absolutely delicious. The waiter/waitress service was excellent and a very comfortable warm ambiance.

Excellent farm shop and country store with many wonderful treats!. Butchers and homemade bread and doughnuts (yummy!)..cafe well restaurant really with extensive menu. Plenty of parking spaces available and disabled parking spaces too. Full disability access throughout and disabled toilets. Ladies and gentlemen’s toilets are upstairs. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this for a visit. Children’s play area and baby changing room on ground floor

Meet some friends in the cafe. Had a look around the shop whilst we waited for them to arrive, decent selection but the prices are eye watering. I've no doubt the quality is good but £20 for a quiche is a bit much!
The cafe was a nice place to go, was clean and nice big glass windows, it gets very busy so worth booking if you are planning on going. The drinks (kids and my wife had hot chocolate) were nice but I had a Mocha and wasn't that impressed, pretty watery. We also had cake, found the chocolate cake to be pretty dry, so much so that two of my kids didn't eat much of it. My friends all had meals and they seemed to be happy with them.
Again the prices were quite dear, 5 hot drinks and 5 cakes was nearly £40!
All in all it was a nice place to meet but I won't be rushing back.

I found the staff so helpful and friendly.
The restaurant has a very good menu, catering for all tastes, traditional fare, vegan, salads, roasts, etc and some interesting deserts.
They have a variety of drinks available, from soft to a selection of beers, wines and spirits.
All in all the service is excellent. Very large restaurant, and separate area outside when weather allows.
Parking onsite is excellent.
The shop offers a very good range of fresh produce, excellent meat counter and delicatessen. Wines, and beers.
Christmas fare etc.
Highly recommended.
