I would rather complain to the store manager in person but cannot reach her after several tries so I had to speak up here. One month ago, my 10 yr old daughter finally decided ear piercing towards her birthday after long deliberation. Shop assistant Tarsia attended on us. First I noticed her marking for right ear punch is too close to face, but she insisted saying here we do it this way, we drop a line from...luckily another experienced staff Richard came and corrected the obvious mistake and saved the day; but then after the stinging piercing, to our bad surprise, she shot the wrong studs on my girl's ears and they cant be removed for 3 weeks, what is more: the butterfly studs my daughter chose is out of stock, my girl was sad she didn't like the wrong studs if she knew butterfly is not available she would have her 2nd choice. Richard promised they will order the butterfly studs for us to collect in 3 weeks and we didn't have to pay for the wrong studs that day. But Tarsia still charged me full price that day and promised will give me right studs. We went back exactly 3 weeks later, bcs my girl was expecting for the new studs when she cleaned the wounds everyday. But the right studs are still not available, obviously Tarsia must forgot to order, but they have my mobile number they could have informed me to avoid let my daughter down again on the spot. my girl was so disappointed and sad, she asked me why they do this to kids. I hope Claire shop should use more responsible and well trained staff to do ear piercing job. But for us, neither me or my girl would like to visit this Claire shop again to avoid this unpleasant experience awaken.

The store layout is very cluttered and many items are hard to get to. The pricing on many things are not clear, seems cheaper than they actually are. Due to this I would advice checking receipt on leaving. The EPOS needs attention and updating. No contactless. Three stars given for excellent friendly, helpful service only
