Harrow Fencing Supplies

Had HFS supply and install 16 new feather edge fencing panels and a new gate in late 2019. 1 year on, very happy with the work that they did! Fence was installed over the course of two days and the gate was done in half a day, that included building a custom frame for the gate.

At the time it was Richard who came out to give the quote, very helpful and on time. The lads doing the work were also very good, they worked quickly, had all the materials and tools and left the place tidy afterwards.

I will be using them again very shortly for more work.

Impressed of the lack of customer service. Can’t pick up the phone and if they pick up they let you know that they are busy and only serve you if you’re worth their time. To enquiries by e-mail they didn’t reply either assuming that I wasn’t worth their time. On the website you say contact by email or phone… Avoid and order somewhere else…

The job was done after months of waiting (4 months). The final job was ok but they stained my gangway and driveway slabs quite visibly. My driveway is actually quite badly stained with liquid cement and is embarrassing in front of my guests and neighbours. I send them pictures and they send someone on a rainy day when it was wet. The stained didn’t show. On that cold day, and at the age of 64 i tried really hard to dry the gangway and drive way stained part with fan heaters and hair dryer!! So they can see. I was unsuccessful obviously. the guy who came argued with me for half an hour that he didn’t see any stain. Kept showing him the pictures and no matter how much I explained the wet stains can’t be seen (and he knew it) and he just denied any problem. I was very stressed out. He kept saying he was the best and his work was perfect! He denied everything and told his boss nothing was wrong! They did not agree to come back on a dry day and totally denied how they obviously had damaged my slabs. They told me if I didn’t pay they would come and take my fences down or I could complain to the ombudsman. We now have to get them cleaned professionally ourselves. They are unprofessional and not decent. I paid and asked for the warranty and receipt. They said my receipt is my bank statement and they give no warranty. Avoid this company.

I got HFS to replace my garden fences (10 panels in total), unfortunately Richard misquoted me and gave me a price for 8 panels, so an error on their part however the job was done on time, very professional, the two guys who did the work (Adam and Charlie) both were excellent and friendly. I would definitely recommend HFS and so far the panels look great, strong and sturdy. If it wasn't for the misquotation I would have given them 5 stars as I had to pay extra on top of what they originally quoted me. Tip: double check the quote they give you!
