This was an unplanned lunch out and we were made welcome sitting outside in beautiful sunshine.

We Went for 2 courses from the menu of the day.
The Bavette steak was beautifully cooked, tender and delicious. The pan fried Hake flaky and very tasty. The mushroom Duxelle was also delicious

There is a good choice of wine by the glass as well as by the bottle

The place was busy and the wait sometimes just a little long but attentive and very friendly staff made up for this.

We will definitely be returning

Visited as I was in the area and tried the Taster Menu. The food was perfect, not a cheap meal, but worth every penny, combined with excellent service and a very pleasant atmosphere Given the opportunity, I'd be back tomorrow in a heart beat

Flawless, worthy of a Michelin Star.
Taster menu was fantastic, and so glad we decided to have this, beautiful decor, excellent service and staff so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again. 5* 👍

We stumbled across this place completely by accident.
From the friendly staff through to the amazing food,( which if they have the blackberry souffle on do not hesitate to order. It's amazing!!)
I would highly recommend this place.
It was a great send-off for my son that we was taking to Norwich university as well which made it even more special.

Service good but very disappointed with the portion size and price. When mine arrived the Sweetcorn was burnt and it took me about 5 minutes to eat my main as the portion size was terrible. Well over priced. My partner also ordered the fillet beef. When arrived she had two pieces of meat on top of her veg for £40?. I left this place feeling hungry and when you are paying £40 for each meal this shouldn't be the case.

The Christmas meal was beautifully cooked with lovely attention to detail. The service was fantastic too. The highlights of the meal were the turkey main dish and the dessert.

We were staying off grid in a cabin nearby and had a brilliantly luxury evening here as a treat. The menu was phenomenal, making it very difficult to choose but we weren’t disappointed when our food arrived as it the dishes were executed perfectly and more than justify the price. The wine was delicious and reasonable in equal measure to go with our food. Staff and atmosphere also great, real gem if you’re visiting the area.

Attractive bar and restaurant, the outdoor terrace is screened off from the road. You can eat and drink outside with your dog who is also allowed at the bar but not restaurant. The staff were friendly when booking, on arrival and throughout the meal. Nice wooden furniture inside, smart bar and everything spotlessly clean.

The menu had a fairly wide choice, there was a menu of local food called the Norfolk menu which I looked the look of but sadly this is only available if the whole table chooses the same which isn't likely on a table of eight.

This is quite an expensive restaurant, budget £60 for three courses. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. My own food was wonderful and I tried other people's too, nicely presented and outstandingly tasty. Good wine list and well kept beer also.

An absolute treat which I will long remember.
