Grate Expectations Fireplaces

From walking into the showroom at Wimbledon Chase until completion we have nothing but praise for the company.

The welcoming, friendliness and expertise shown to us was brilliant.

The company answered all my questions [very lengthy] and put my mind completely at ease.

We purchased two gas burners and these were duly fitted within a six/seven week period.

It was so nice to see the fires working in the showroom and gave a much better overview.

The fitters took their shoes off at the entrance then completely covered all the flooring and furniture [light in colour]. They treated our home with the same respect as they would their own.

From start to finish [including chimney sweeping] there was not a speck of dirt anywhere. The fires were then connected the next day and the
treatment was the same.

The company were also punctual on the dates and times given for the work to be carried out.

We highly recommend Grate Expectations and, as a family concern each and everyone of them are a credit to each other.

Too be fair I did telephone quite a lot of other companies but did not feel confident enough with the information given to me.

If in any doubt just contact the showroom and I am sure they will treat the next customer as they did us.

Really excellent service and work from these guys. They were helpful throughout the whole process and the installation team were impeccable.

To top it off we had an issue with true stove paint after installation and they liased with the manufacturer and came over to repaint it with no fuss or charge very promptly.

I dealt with sonji on purchase of my new fire , over the moon with it. She was very helpful and ensured we had the maximum info on all of the options before making our decision. Excellent service with a great range of fires to choose from. Would def recommend.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Very pleased with the advise given in the shop and the survey and installation teams did a great job too. Throughout the process everyone was very knowledgeable and approachable. And the final installed fire place looks great!

Echoing other reviews here on Google the service from the team at Grate Expectations has been outstanding. Our overall build project has been complex and fraught with supplier issues and GrateExpectations have really stood out from original sale to tricky installation and some post sales challenges. Could not recommend them highly enough.

Danny and Billy are a pleasure to work with. GEF have a great selection of options and high quality finishes. We spent an evening discussing options and the team helped us thoroughly explore flue systems that would meet our preference and be suitable for our space. The installation team was fast, flexible, efficient and professional- the end result is beautiful.

Installed an electric fire in our house. After a year, it developed a problem. I was impressed how the company really took responsibility and were determined to fix the issue - coming round 3 times and investigating it properly, eventually resealing the chimney stack. Now the fire works well. would recommend.
