Renaissance London Antique Fireplaces

Spent a great couple of hours at Renaissance on City Road. Went in to purchase a fireplace but the selection of chairs and chandeliers got me hooked. Anna and Owen were both knowledgeable and informative. Came out with a much lighter purse!!! The installation went very smoothly with the guys doing a great job with minimum mess. Thank you to all the team.

Wow - What an incredible place! From the outside in, this place is like a dream! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and being given a tour - In the basement they have traditional marble fireplaces, the ground floor is an incredible showroom with everything from an 18th century statue to framed art by Mariano Vivanco! I was in awe at the entire place.. It’s like being in a movie!

I have been googling online for months trying to find the right fireplace for our property. The last search brought up Renaissance and I'm so glad it did. What a beautiful treasure trove of fabulous fireplaces to view. I instantly saw the one I wanted. Unable to view in store due to lockdown and living in the South West, Owen took pictures of every angle and every corner to ensure I had all the info possible, even a video. The process of pictures to delivery was fast and smooth. Lovely company to deal with, and a lovely owner. I have no hesitation buying online again without viewing in store, in fact I have, I bought a stunning brass lamp. Just as delighted with this item as I was with the fireplace.

Amazing range of fireplaces to choose from. We have just purchased three for our home. The choice was a bit bewildering for us, but Owen was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, guiding us away from unsuitable ones, and giving us so much time to make the right choice. Very easy to deal with.

The Owner, Owen, is obsessed with Period fireplaces, chandeliers and other interesting artefacts. If you are serious about making a purchase like this, then he will litterally spend all day explaining things and helping you get just what you need. The shop is impressive, but he has a secret store around the corner that he shows occasionally. Anna is the cogs that make the machine work, having been there for over 15 years i think - Hands down the best place to go for serious high end interior designers / hotel chains.

OMG amazing place & people! I had been looking for a few months in lots places in UK and France for an antique marble fireplace for my home. There were lots of okay ones and some super expensive for what they were. At Renaissance I found the perfect one, a beautiful Louis XVI example and at a brilliant price. They not only put it on reserve but also were true to their word when I went to see it in the flesh. Owen and Anna made the whole buying experience fun and painless - pretty rare these days. Hope the delivery & fitting are as enjoyable - watch this space! Oh and the Murano chandeliers are to die for !

The most amazing selection of fireplaces. We are really pleased with the three that we purchased, really bringing life to our early Victorian house. Owen is extremely knowledgeable, and the quality of the restoration work is truly excellent.
