Kimberley Fireplaces and Stoves

Installation date 24/11/2020 - Fantastic service throughout. Matt listened to what we wanted and our budget. No pressure selling. We had the Clock 5kw Blithfield multifuel stove, red brick chamber with side returns, black slate hearth and Geocast beam with lights. Could not fault the workmanship. Very hard working and good at what they do. No mess left behind and completed quicker than expected. We have used the stove everyday since install, even doing jacket potatoes in a cast iron cooker! Just in time for Christmas. It's so cosy, we love it!!!

We had wanted a wood burning stove for a long time and decided to take the plunge. We visited Kimberley Fireplaces and from the outset they could not had been more helpful, we booked a home visit for the following week.
Upon arriving they put us at ease and explained how everything would happen and our options. We decided to proceed and we have not been disappointed.
They turned up on the date we agreed and on time, the lads were very clean and tidy. The fireplace looks lovely and the finish is so much better than we expected, all we need to do is add paint which is what they told us from the start.
Very happy indeed and glad we went local!

Had a fireplace installed by this company which I was initially happy with.

After a short while the cement where the flue meets the stove began to crack and fall away. I recontacted Matt who said he would come and replace the cement.

Matt attended whilst I was at work and my partner was home. He did nothing more than drill a silver screw through the black collar into the flue (which was bad enough but also done off-centre), put in fresh cement missing a large portion at the back, and then spray paint the screw black. He did this without anything protecting the brickwork around the firebox which has now stained the brickwork with black spray paint.

Was initially happy with the work but the aftercare is sorely lacking and they take 0 care with your fireplace.

We had our wood burning stove installed in July & we are really happy with the results. From the first visit to the shop to having the fire fitted was seamless, we received lots of help & advice as we were unsure if the false chimney breast would be too big for our room. It all worked out perfectly & the 2 fitters were very courteous & efficient. Thank you.

From stepping into the showroom to stove being fitted 2/3 November 2022 everything was done so professional.so pleased to have a lovely multi fuel stove house has never been so warm would highly recommend Kimberly fireplaces.
