Lovely quality of fish which was freshly cooked with a perfect layer of batter. Chips were delicious and even though they had been wrapped to get home were not soggy. They even wrapped the fish and the chips separately so they did not stick together on the way home. The owners are friendly and chatty so it's always lovely to pop in.

Superb sized helping of fish and chips. The fish was cooked to order, so fresh and very hot. One of the best fish and chip lunches I've had in a long while. As my son lives in Long Buckby we'll certainly visit again.

Pleasant staff, but a little overpriced (£3.50 for large chips and about £7 for cod. Asked for salt and vinegar but there wasn't nearly enough as we couldn't taste it

Food is decent but they close early so you can’t order what you want well before closing and minimum £10 spend for cards is inconvenient

Really nice fish and chips (amongst other things) make this a place you should make a detour for. Well worth it.

The best takeaway chippy by a long long way. Fresh fish and crispy batter and of course the greatest chips... fluffy and tasty.

Absolutely banging, my dear wife and I had a great triple sausage deluxe .was awesome!!
Chips were crisp and soft just how I like em!! Portions were good sized and easy to eat
