Herts Plaice

ordered food it took an hour to arrive after i was told it would only be 30 mins, when the delivery man arrived he gave me a price that i wasn’t told online so i had to rush and find loose change. once i got the food i realised my drinks weren’t even in the bag... i placed the chips down on my sofa (in the bag) and it left a huge oil stain on it!

Was on my way to Istanbul Kebabs, so parked my truck outside Herts Plaice and thought I'd give it a go.
Had a medium Donner Kebab with chilli and garlic sauce, and it'll be the last time I buy from here, absolutely tasteless.
Wish I'd have tried the other kebab place.

I would rate this fish and chips as 2.5 stars. This was the closest fish and chips shop open on a Sunday.

It was a big bit of fish but it was very oily. Chips were not freshly cooked and again oily like the food isn’t drained properly before serving.

We had to ask for tissues, forks and sauces which you would expect to be offered.

Price for two medium cod and chips was £13 however I would prefer to pay a little more and get better quality food.

I had a large Doner and my dad had chicken and chips. No complaints, both meals were as you would want. Teeny gripe about waiting too long in the shop while they prepare meals for online orders, besides that, fine

Lovely food from here indeed, Travel from long distance’s to get here. Very reasonable prices.

Will definitely use again. Lovely piece of cod enough to feed 3. Nice chips and the burger sauce is really nice. Wasn't too late turning up and was still hot. Very happy, will be back!

Lovely kebab, fresh salad and not dripping in grease, very good value for money
