The Jolly Forest Fryer

I've only ever had a good and convenient experience from ordering online despite what the other review said.
Some quality food and prices are very fair, it can be a little greasy but it's a chippy so to be expected.
Staff are always welcoming and polite.

Very quick delivery, food still very hot when arrives. Driver very friendly food very nice, good size kids meals prices very reasonable

Rejects order because “UNAVAILABLE”, this after going through the whole process of creating an account and submitting an order.
What’s not available? Or couldn’t you be bothered to deliver?

We stayed in cinderford end of September and decided to get a take away on the first night. Everything was great, taste, cost and portion size. It was cheaper than here down in Devon and the size wow biggest portions we have ever had. We ended up having the left over chips the next day for lunch. Glad we picked your take away.

I stayed in nearby Steam Mills this weekend with 5 friends and not knowing the area we struggled to find somewhere to deliver but luckily passed the Jolly Forest Fryer on our walk back from the pub. We ordered a couple of pizzas, fish and chips, and some chicken kebabs and were incredibly impressed by the cost, the portion sizes and the quality of the food. If we are ever in the area again we would make a point to visit the Jolly Forest Fryer.

Absolutely amazing! We ordered very close to closing time yet the still cooked our order for us, which from experience i know is very infuriating so I'm very grateful. Food was absolutely amazing and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely be using again!

A business is only as good as their last compaint. I have had meals from this business in the past and been happy with them. Some meals arriving a bit late orin- complete but not a problem. I had to cjhase the order I made yesterday. the 5 to 10 minute delay was 1 hour late, the chips were shrivelled and inedible. The pizza was cold and congealed. Part of the meal was so bad it was discarded.
