Best chippy in Crawley!! Longstanding fish & chip shop which is very popular with the locals. Fresh fish cooked to order & portions are very generous and prices fair. They offer pies and sausage also. Very friendly owner and staff :-) Parking is free nearby.

Decent fish and chip shop, chips are always good as well as fish / sausages that I normally get.

Guy that runs it seems nice, always singing!

Only minor niggle is it would look more professional is he bought his staff some new uniforms, as the polo shirts they wear do not look great.

I tried here on the recommendation of a frequent customer and it was a good tip. The chips were fantastic, curry sauce on point and the fish was cooked to perfection. Will go again when I've run off the calories from this visit.

We have been going here for many years. Many staff have come and gone. It's ok but the chips could be better. Rather bland and white looking. Fish is ok but sometimes you will get a discrepancy in size and this can be annoying.

The most awful thing I've eaten in years. Flavourless chips, undercooked but with a thick hard outer coating. Basic error when frying chips for them to end up like that. Fish, dripping with grease, as thin as a Tory promise, supposed to be cod but clearly pollock due to the overly fishy stench and grey, slippery fish pieces. No fluffy white cod here. Batter, utterly foul and had to be removed. Got about 3 minutes in and had to bin the lot, just disgusting. Really putting the gag reflex to the test.

On top of that the person serving seemed unable to take orders and continually messed our order up, having to refund for things we never ordered and then cook additional missing items. Must have repeated the order at least 6 times. And who on earth wraps fish and chips separately? What a palava unwrapping it all then putting it all together as it's done in every other chippy on the planet. The clue is in the name, fish AND chips, together, in a single wrapper.

Suffice to say my first and last trip to this grease laden establishment, not really fit for human consumption and they need some basic lessons in cooking what is after all the easiest thing to get right, dropping things into hot oil and waiting a few minutes.

Best Chips in town. The gentleman is always polite and professional. Bought chips here twice recently and has never let me down.

Just bought a small portion of chips from here. Although I thought it was a bit pricey (£3-00) I got a generous portion and instant service. Chips were ok certainly not the best in town but ok.

Barely worth a 2. I've given 2 cos the chips were not. They tasted fishy tho and the saveloy had absolutely no flavour. Pie was microwaved infront of me and was so soggy. Chips were not a large. Will avoid big time.
