Mr Ram & Mrs Cod

Just had cod and chips for 2 and 2 sausages in batter. It was the worst fish and chips I have ever had, soggy batter, and really greasy a hair was included 🤢 sausages were dry with soggy batter. The shop smelt horrible and looked dirty, should of trusted my nose and not bothered. Used to be great what ever happened to the good old Mrs Cod 🤷🏻‍♀️

Burnt my fish and when I asked them to
deliver some fish not burnt the person on the phone refused because delivering fish was below the amount they would deliver for and requested that I go back to the shop myself. He also repeatedly said “brother” over me talking during the call. I took the fish back and the owner refused to give me a refund even when his own members of staff were pleading with him to do so. Became hostile very quickly and I would recommend that you avoid ordering from here at all costs.

Absolutely disgusting... Kebab meat was dry... Sauce was all over bread which made bread soggy.. When ordered before. Sauce was in a pot. Much better!.. Sorry. I wouldn't even give that to a dog!... Sort it out!... Never used be that bad!!..

This place used to be so great, but it's gone downhill since new owners / management. It's so awkward going in there and such an unfriendly atmosphere. Bought a burger, fish, and two large chips. Chips portions are small, as I've seen mentioned also in previous comments. The burger on it own, I think, was £5.99 and it's just dry buns with a cheap looking "chicken burger" in between no sauce or salad. I could have got a whole meal at McDonald's for that price. It's definitely not the same as it used to be, and it's such a shame!
Won't be going there anymore unfortunately!! :(

Been a while since I ordered from here after a bad experience, so gave it another go.

Turned up on time, but some of it was burnt to the point I can't believe they sent it. Chips were dry. So that's absolutely the last time I'll be ordering from here.

Don't charge people for things are clearly inedible!

Absolutely appalling service. Order was 30 minutes late. Arrived stone cold and two items missing. Spoke to restaurant and staff were rude and couldn't understand that were items missing. Out of pocket with cold food. If I could give negative stars I would

After a number of months of boycotting I was advised by a friend that he had a great meal so I gave them another chance. He was right! The chips were back to real chip shop chips. Not thin and dry. The cod was perfectly cooked like the old days. Would have given 5 stars if the chips portion size reverted to the original. Really not what I'd call a large portion at all (table spoon added for comparison).

Seriously I've been to hundreds of chip shops and takeaways in the country with work and tend to give a feedback to a trending food reviewer.
This is right at the bottom.
Establishment was grimy and absolutely filthy inside. I gave it a honest go, ordered fish and chips.
The bossman was delusional, very snappy and aggressive, no chill what so ever.
The fish was shocking, Batter was very blend and the oil dripping off, they'd be getting a call off the US soon. Fish fillet was very thin and again no taste at all.
Chips was okay, but had a strange taste from whatever they been cooked in.
Stick to kebabs and pizza. This ain't for you
