We love coming and getting ribs and chips for a reasonable price and being able to call up in advance is very helpful to know if there are ribs available and to place the rest of our order. I must say the service is quite different everytime as there isn't a lot of organisation or multi-tasking so you usually wait for one order at a time from people waiting in the shop. Maybe that is just because they don't have a lot of people at once all the time and the food you get still is great you just don't want to be in a rush to get your order! Also we do always take our chips home and reheat them as they rarely taste fresh!

What has happened to the portion sizes because if this is the new large chips they need to add an extra large option 😮

Went there today after a long time, with a big hunger. Ordered a 3 piece southern chicken and a full rib for take away and come back to pick it up after 10 min. About £18 with 4 dips. When got home I discovered the rib was pre heated and dry. I was expecting it to be fresh!! Also the fries was quite small portion compared to last time. Would never come back! Thank you

Went to the stow, ordered chicken and chips.
Chicken was ok, chips were horrible old and too dry.
Whilst I was there I thought I would have buy a saveloy, until I saw it was £2:75 absolute day light robbery
Fish n Chicken should be ashamed of themselves.
Won't be going back, and l won't be surprised if they get into problems. Will be going back to Hatfield heath chip shop it's worth the drive.

Love their offers! Fish is cooked to order. Staff are friendly

I dont like leaving Negative reviews but Takeaways are not cheap and the least you can receive is value for money.

Firstly the Curry Sauce, I get really worried when I see pre-poured Curry Sauce in the hot plate - I mean its just lazy service and it takes 2 seconds to pour out some Curry sauce. The reason you want to do this is to avoid a thick skin forming on the top which I had to remove and discard - sorry just not good enough.

Chips were ok, a bit soggy but might have been because I had to walk 7/8 mins so i can give the benefit of the doubt but certainly nothing special - average at best.

Sausage in batter absolutely fine no complaints there

However 2 Reg Portions of chips, 3 sausage in batter and a curry sauce came to nearly £17

It has to be one of two things - it either has to be the Worlds Best Sausage Batter with Chips for that price or its daylight robbery - unfortunately it isn't the best so you know my answer.

I'm sorry to say I won't be back.

Worse fish and chips ive ever had the misfortune to eat. Batter soggy and chips hard and overcooked. Don't buy from here
