Silver Sea

Tried so many places since moving to the area a few years ago, but Silver Sea was the place I was looking for. Really decent fish and chips: Not too oily, not too crispy and good cuts of fish. And it's well run. Download their app from the app store and you can order ahead, and avoid the queuing. I'm a big fan of this place.

Food cooked to order, lovely chips fish could have been drained better, but tasty.

Awesome 👏 fish and chips which was served by Tim & Joseph for my family meal this evening. Fresh fish, chips and everything else on the menu. Nothing is drowning in oil and the freshness of the food is second to none.

Always expect a slight wait due to the high demand, but most certainly worth it, so never much complaint from the regular customers.

Friendly staff, who work quickly to get orders taken and served to ensure food is still piping hot when ready to eat!

Best chip shop in the area. Over the past decade, I've tried a few, and this is always consistent. Crisp light batter, properly cooked chips.

The move to boxes instead of wrapped in paper is a great change, stays warmer on the way home.

Freshly cooked and consistently very good quality. Well cooked chips and light crisp batter in the fish, and good sized portions. Highly recommended - best in the area and worth travelling to.

First time we've used this place and omg we'll be back, freshly cook while we waited, not greasy or oily in anyway, chips crispy and batter too, all very hot, thank you

We had our first fish and chips from Silver Sea last night.
We are pensioners and have eaten a great many over the years but the Silver Sea fish and chips was the best we have ever tasted, everything perfect.
The shop was impressive and spotlessly clean and the staff efficient, friendly and seemed very happy.
A totally great experience, we will be back again very shortly.

Best fish and chips we've had within our local area. The chips are never greasy and always taste good and the fish batter is nice. Prices are a bit steep, hence the four stars. We'd only have this occasionally as a treat because it would be too expensive for a family of 5 to have this too often.
