Moira Chippy

The delivery was quick, the driver was friendly and the food was ok.

I'm probably spoilt by other, local chip shops, because I thought the portion size was dire. I bought a fish, chips and peas meal with a fritter, which came to £7.90. At that price, I was expecting enough to feed two. The fritter was like a largish cornflake, the fish was small and the coated chips don't travel well.

They must be making a killing with the profits, bless 'em.

A good friendly chippy. Chips are great with an orangey crispy style batter.

Serve chicken and lamb kebabs with salad and the usual pies and fish.

Parking outside but not accessible for wheelchairs.

The prices now are just too high. Please bring your prices down. We use to order weekly but now have Indian because it’s actually cheaper.

Great little local chippy with amazing chips

Lovely chippy. We live in Ashby but always venture next door into Moira for the chips. Friendly staff and lovely food.

Enjoyed these orange chips but would have tasted better fried in beef dripping and served in a cardboard box to stop the fish sticking to the paper. That said well worth a visit.

You said the steak pie was nice and my goodness it was. Full of meat and lovely gravy. The chips were lovely too.
