Very good fish and chips. Excellent portions

A brill Chippy, the food is always of excellent quality. The premises are cleaned to a high standard too. The staff are great too. Always ready with a smile, well mannerd and polite, especially the to young ladies who are serving, they make you feel welcome and are apprective of your custom. I highly recommend the Wigston Fish Bar

It's a takeaway in wigston. They have a good take away menu from fish and chips to naan bread with kebabs etc.... meal deals are good there too.

Fairly priced for the area.

Staff are ok depends on the night if they are happy or not.
Would recommend the chicken tikka in naan with chips but there's enough for 2 people in that 👍🏻

Ordered chips, burgers and battered sides.

The quantity was generous, but they all missed seasoning and the burger buns were soaked in oil. The onion rings were soggy and raw.

Definetly not going again.

Update 11/09: Went again and ordered the same items, quality and taste improved considerably.

Ordered cheese burger which was fried and dry. Ordered Fish which was soggy and batter was stuck to the paper. Salad for the kabab was wet and soggy. Shocking food. Avoid if possible

Just purchased cod & chips. Waited for the cod , got home , chips very good .
The cod was stone cold & raw !

Lovely kebab on fresh naan bread. The Sunday special chips were very good !

Avoid this place. First of all I wanted mc d but the drive though was so busy and this fish and chips shop was next door so I thought il give it a go. I asked the guy for small fish and chips and he was packing my food I asked can you please put the fish separate and he showed attitude and slammed the fish on a different piece of packing paper. I wouldn’t of gone out my way to do this review but when I saw my food the chips were all stale and it was like he recooked it.. me and a friend of mine just looked at the food and threw it away to avoid food poisoning and for a week. After I checked the review online and I agree with all the negative feedback for this place which I checked it earlier
