Tasty Fish Bar

Tried this place for the first time while staying at the Ibbis thinking it was just a chip shop that served donners, which I wasn't really interested in but thought it would do.
The menu also had skeward Kebabs, so tried the mixed one for £8. Wow!
Really nice cooked to order, lamb chicken and shish, with a lovely fresh mixed salad and pittas.
Going back again tonight.......Try it if you stay or live near here, you wont be disappointed.

So tasty! We went there going from our hotel and looking for same place to eat fish&chips. Very kind and positive old man who run this place help us choose the best option which they have a lot. He was polite and smiling all the time and food was awsome, absolutely outstanding. So tasty and juicy chicken, so so good cod, fresh salad. If you are around you absolutely need to step in!

My partner and I come here regularly and have never been disappointed! I always get a chicken shish and he gets a lamb donner, both of which are banging!
Highly recommend coming here as a tasty treat!!

Does anyone know where the former owners have moved?
It was wonderful family.
I really need to know this because I've always bought delicious food there before and I would like to continue buying from them.

Mr HASSAN of New Management is a very friendly Guy. Shop name is changed to SOSSO and very Clean and Trendy. Lovely service and Much better Fish. Succulant Huge Generous Portion. Tasty Traditionally and professionally cooked FISH and Chips. Friendly helpful new Management. It has been over 10 years I specially drive there just because taste is so good. Never Disappointed. Many shops fry Fish Chickèn and meat in the same fryer. THEY DONT WHICH IS PEACE OF MIND At least this place is reliable HALAL. Always ask for lovely Chilly sauce.

I am surprised reading the last few reviews as I have never had any issues with this place. Though I may not be a regular but when I do purchase food here, I am always satisfied. Just got a simple large cod and chips and it was delicious. The cod was well cooked but perhaps the batter could have been more crispy for my liking. But the chips were well cooked and tasty. Not a waste of money at all.

How does one get away with such terrible customer service in this day and age? The new proprietors of this establishment are highly determined to drive away all loyal customers. The quality of the fare has diminished greatly. And the personnel who should be warm and personable are now surly and unhelpful. This is simply unacceptable. I shall not be returning here. I advise you, the general public, to beware of this sorry excuse for a restaurant and conserve your hard-earned money for better food elsewhere.

So disappointing, this place once served the best fish & chips on Lea Bridge Road, not any more. The service is terrible and the owner needs to do a customer service course - so rude. The fish I bought was undercooked as were the chips. Not happy
