Probably the worst fish and chips I've ever had the misfortune to purchase - the chips were hard and tasteless and the fish was more grease than anything, when I placed my fork into the fish about a tea spoon of oil squished out which didn't bode well at all, very disappointing, staff were very chatty and polite - shame about the cuisine. I would try one of the other F&C shops - there are plenty to choose from.

Totally ignored what I wanted on my order asked for no salt all came with salt asked for no mushy peas food covered in it. Arrived really late. Staff need to learn how to read orders as do not rate the food at all due to not reading order

Great food. I recommend the kebabs in naan. Quick and friendly service. The shop's a bit dingy but don't let that put you off.

Well what can i say
Expensive
Small portions
White hard undercooked chips
Rude staff
Dry fish
Hard scallops
I could go on, i would not recommend this chip shop to anyone. Even my dog turned his nose up at the food. The prices are ridiculous for the size of portions. This is a -5 star review. The people who give them 5 stars have definitely got no taste buds.

Purchased small chips (£2.50) at lunchtime today.
They were unfit for consumption.
Dry, re-heated, wrinkled. I threw them straight in the bin. I would have taken them back, had I lived closer.
I will never set foot in that place again.

Having used them before a few times it's a shame this review has to be one star. The sad thing is I'd rate it a zero if I could, the chicken we got was dryer than a sandpit and was certainly a re-fry given how black the coating was and how tough the chicken was in general, chips were soggy as was the batter on the sausages.

We phoned up to let them know, not demand anything and they put the phone down on us after saying it was cooked fresh within the hour, not even the dogs would eat the chicken.

Sadly it's gone real downhill as of late.
