Hot Spot

The fish is incredibly fresh and was fried when we ordered it and the large chips was enough for 4 people! We also got the calamari which we feel was not worth the price - stick to the fish and chips

Excellent fish & chips. Huge portion, really tastie, served hot by the friendly owners. There are other items on the menu, for those that want a taste of something different. Takeaway or dine in at a small counter or 1 small table for 4. There were at least 6 folks ahead ordering the fish, they all know its really good 😊

Visiting from San Diego and craving proper fish n chips. As I was getting ready to leave and staying by Heathrow, I looked up Hot Spot and the reviews. Let me say it didn't disappoint. Delicious! I need to add the service from Gopi and Raju was tremendous from start to finish and the place was very clean. I'll make this a must have every time I'm back.

Travelling solo and thought of having something local. Found this gem, great people, lovely neighbourhood and most important is the food is warm and fresh.

Our favourite fish and chip shop, the fish is always such a good size and good quality. The owners are really friendly and the takeaway is always clean and tidy.

Travelled from Ireland to London, went in to Hot Spot got the battered fish, its the nicest I've tasted so far, staff are friendly and polite, reasonable prices, definitely worth it

Lovely fish and chips, one of the tastiest in area! Only 1 large table to dine in so not much option there. Take cash and card! Freindly staff, fast service and large portions!
Parking can be a bit tricky!

I honestly don't understand some people's reviews. I get it people have different taste opinions, but the people who said that was the best Doner they ever had must either have severe brain damage or they must be on drugs.

That was one of the worst Kebab I have ever had, it was so oily, greasy and heavily burnt on certain strips. Also, I don't understand why fish and chip shops always do this trick whereby they fill the mayo or ketchup bottle with water to make their sauces last longer, but by doing this you get watery mayo disgusting.

I ordered large chips, was not enough for 2 people let alone 3. Stingy chips portions. Ordered curry sauce, yet most of the curry sauce was spilt in the bag and was clumpy.

The reason I didn't give it a 1 star was because the fish was actually half decent. Maybe if you stick to fish and chips for one it will be a decent shout, but what I got wasn't that with the nasty kebab.
