Hooked Fish and Chips

This is the first time we've gone in here and it's our new favourite. The fish here is nice and flaky and the batter is light and crispy. Very different from the other chip shops. The small chips are reasonable but the large chips almost fill the box.

Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. Separate section and utensils for veg and vegan food. Great customer service, owner is a very friendly and helpful Scottish lad. Great service. Great value for money and excellent food.

The Vegan Fish and Chips here were really good, really impressed they keep all veggie options cooked separate. Chips were freshly cooked and tasted great. Also loved the mac and cheese bites. The staff were very friendly and the food is reasonable priced. A very enjoyable visit.

Quite literally the BEST fish and chips ever had in uk 🇬🇧 Friendly staff, quick service, and food comes out fresh and hot. Not greasy at all Prices super reasonable. The owner Scotty Singh here is great too!

Cod was perfect. Lightly battered, perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and juicy inside.

Chips could have been better though as they were not as crispy as I would have preferred.

Glad to have found a good chip shop near my place. Will definitely try again and hopefully I'll get better chips next time.

THE best vegan fish 've ever eaten. I was with my non-vegan friend and she tried it. She swore it's a cod. Even the structure was fish meat-alike. Super tasty, big and cheap at the same time. I'm speachless. What an outstanding job, guys, don't change anything!

I lived in a fair few places around the country and therefore experienced my fair share of chippys. This has to be one of the best I've tried (up there with another well known and well-reviewed chippy in Cheltenham). Good value for money. A regular portion can easily feed two people or, like me, you can eat half and save the other for the next day. Lovely light fish and the dishes aren't too oily. The owner is very friendly and chatty. Cod and chips reheats brillaintly in the oven for 10-15mins at 200°C and still tastes fresh. Speaks to the quality of the ingredients they use I think.

This is the best chippie in the area hands down. All freshly cooked, super clean and great vegetarian options too which has its own preparation area. There is a wide menu selection. The owner is clearly passionate about what he does. Keep up the great work.
