Richard & Maggies Fish Bar

So disappointing when you look gorward to gish and chips after a busy day .tonight we had a large fish and chips to share , the fish was nearly all batter and very few chips and they were dry and cold . We didn't enjoy them at all

If you don't want to serve people at 1:45pm when you shut at 2pm, then close the shop. Dont be rude and ignorant to your customers.
This would of never happened with Richard, Maggie or you employed staff ,but the new owners arnt a patch on them.

Very poor service iv been a customer at Maggie and Richards chip shop for years and always had a smile on entry. But the women who served me tonight was clearly not enjoying her job and was very rude so I left empty handed.thats the last time I go there 😡

A very nice fish and chips.good choices and very good price.tasted lovely and friendly staff and polite.

We've been going here regularly for years. They serve excellent quality fish 'n chips at decent prices. The service is friendly and fast.

Been a customer for last 15+ years but not the same....called Saturday evening 7.30pm, prime time, you'd think!? nothing much cooked, what was there looked like it had been there a good while.
Asked for 4 fish bites to be told I could have 2 mini fish instead as we're same, told her there would be more batter and less fish, but didn't get a choice, dont understand why they couldn't have cooked me some fresh 🤷🏼‍♀️
If it wasn't for the fact we were hungry I'd have walked out...
Very poor service, even though the prices keep going up, naybe thats why the shop was empty!!
