I've had food from here hundreds of times over a period of 45 years. Always enjoyed the food, never a bad meal. I would have gave it 5 stars but the wall and floor tiles are the same as 45 years ago. Clean but the place is looking tired.

Really good Chinese and English food. Really good prices. Lovely staff. You can pick up your own food or have it delivered as they have a good delivery service.

Best gravy on the planet. Never tasted anything like it anywhere else. However... Always been a decent place for Chinese and English food, not the best, but never had a bad meal, but I will not be going there again. The greed is overwhelming. Omelettes used to be a meal, came with chips and peas. Not anymore. £6.50 for just the omelette!!! A MASSIVELY SMALLER ONE AT THAT. WOW!!??. Tiny trays now, she knocks the chips off to a level 😂. If you want salt and vinegar don't blink or you'll miss it going on. BEST ONE... 13P FOR A FORK 🤨. I've no problem with people earning a good living and making a profit BUT that is disgusting. She literally lives opposite the shop, no travelling costs etc. She opens 364 days a year. Only closed on Xmas day. GREED GREED GREED. You'd think she'd clean the shop up with a bit of the money she's obviously rolling in as it's very grubby and hasn't changed in the 33 yrs I've been going there. Also, the last few times I've been, I've totted up the total and she's always got it to about 30p more 🤔. Make your own mind up on that one.

We ordered from Golden Fish and we full well knew it would take a long time for delivery as it was Christmas Eve however, what we didn’t expect was cold food, not even slightly warm at all! We all know Chinese food is laced in fat but when it’s cold after being cooked, sat in its own grease, it is grim. We rang them within 2/3 minutes of delivery but got refused of a fresh delivery or a refund. No apology, nothing. Well I say nothing, next time we order they will make sure it’s warm. Yeah, thanks. Never again

They made a mistake with my order and then when I contacted them .they expected me to pay again for the right stuff ..First time using this place and it will be the last

Always Order a Chinese from this place and the Chips and Gravy are always good.
