Star Fish Bar

Chips are always great and be warned that they are good size portions. My late mum always loved the fish (and the fish bites when she wasn't so hungry) and she was very particular. Service is good and we've never had any bad food. We're lucky to have this nearby.

I’ve been going here for the past couple of years since I moved house. They are probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had from a fish and chip shop. The value is amazing and the staff are always friendly. My husband and I never manage to finish our shared large cod and small chips as the portions are so big. I’d recommend phoning in your order before going to collect it as during busy periods it can be a bit of a wait.

Really tasty fish and chips, epic portion sizes. Always good to see a chippy busy on a Friday night, and this really was, obviously popular locally.

Used this place for the first time last week. Great fish and chips plus friendly and helpful service when I pre ordered by phone. Will definitely use again.

Most of the time lovely food.. Once had scampi, awful. Was hard and over cooked, burnt. Would never have scampi again there.
Now and again food warm but overall very nice.
