Disgusting dry hard and chewy chips again!!! You just lost a loyal customer of 30years!!! Bad customer service too whilst on phone to them. When I called the shop, they said we don’t re fry chips but a while back they admitted they do! When he put me on hold, bearing in mind I can hear you - he said to the manager she’s a moody one on the phone, the manager said just complain to just eat so no offer of a better customer service or compensation! My bro in law owns a chippy and never have they ever been hard dry and chewy chips. A baby could die by choking on one of those chips!!! Such a shame that the foreign man who used to run, isn’t there anymore as he gave the shop a brilliant vibe and always looked after his customers. 30 years of buying from this shop and now they’ve lost a once loyal customer!!! You lie to your customers cause you admitted previously that delivery food is re fried (blanched) and fresh chips is for walking trade only. This is disgusting as those chips could be used as bullets!!! Never coming back to such a poor establishment who is just money hungry!!! Master Fryer all the way 👍🏽

Looking for a decent fish and chip shop. Regular one gone downhill. Tried this one and fish and sausage were lovely. Batter was nicely cooked on sausage and fish was nice and white and batter crispy. Staff were friendly and polite. Will definitely go there again

One of the best fish and chips I’ve had. Food was still hot after it had arrived. Great packaging and chips were perfect. Couldn’t recommend more!

Ocean Trawler has always been my favourite go to fish & chip shop and today I came with my colleagues to pick up some lunch. They said it was by far the best fish and chips they've ever had, food was great as always and great customer service the woman on till (dark hair in bun)

Such lovely customer service from a bunch of lovely ladies. Very kind and helpful. My daughter got a toy from the machine which I struggled to open and one of the ladies kindly offered to open it. Amazing fish and chips, will definitely be going back. Thank you 😊

Was recommended by a local in Crawley that the food is great and the protion sizes were really generous - let's be honest most people would think it's just a chip shop, but honestly the service provided in the shop was lovely and friendly, the portion sizes were huge and the potatoes used were really tasty.

It wasn't a small order as we had 3 households all ordering together but it was spot on perfect and from ordering to leaving couldn't have been more than 10 mins.

Highly recommended

Delicious chips! But the fish was horrible, I got the skinniest large cod ever , it wasn’t even cripsy and the fish tasted very old!
