I only ordered chips from this place, and they were literally the worst chips I've ever eaten. Extremely pale, limp and soggy, and so very oily. Not crunchy or crispy in the slightest. The chips only tasted of bad oil and nothing else. I had to throw them in the bin as they made me feel sick. Thank god I didn't order the fish. Looking at the other negative reviews here it seems that my experience wasn't a one-off. Also saw a staff member lift a piece of fish out of the warmer and onto a customer's order using her hand. Not a great look!

Food safety standards no existent. Server touching food without washing hands, wearing jewelry and nail varnish. This is very poor standards. Staff and management need training. Food was bad ended up in bin.

Not even proper chippy chips, since when do chippies use thin cut chips, while I was waiting a member of staff had to run after a customer with part of his order,so when I get home surprise surprise, I'm missing two gravies, and the chips are anemic.

We went in here for lunch but were told they are working on a big order so it will be a few minutes. We completely understood and waited by the door. Then another lady came in, went straight up to the counter and was served immediately. We challenged but was told she’s a friend and gets priority. We made our feelings clear and left and were told by the very rude member of staff not to bother coming back. We used to be regulars here but won’t be returning.

This chippy was our 2nd choice, since the superior Codfather (accessed via Green Farm on the next site) was not open.
Had meals from here before and would rate mediocre at best. Chips always seem undercooked and hard. Batter on fish is bright orange and has a twang, however it was a nice meaty piece of cod.
3 X fish and chips & a mushy peas £27. Pricey and not particularly value for money.

Under cooked, over priced. Avoid!

The staff are really rude, from the lady serving you to the boy who brought you your food.

The chips were under cooked and some were raw.

Price was not worth it, we ordered four portions of chips one fish and two portions of chicken nuggets and came to £20, but steep when the quality did not match the price.

So yesterday 23/7it was our last night so we waundered up to the chippy. Upon entering we wore our face masks out of courtesy and went inside to look at the menu to order what we wanted, as we were looking at the menu a slim blonde lady appeared and very rudely and abruptly said that only one person was allowed inside! I said but how are we supposed to know what to order? She looked at me scowlingly and I went outside. My husband then ordered and he was then ordered to wait outside for his food whilst it was cooking. This happened despite us both wearing masks and there being a screen shield on the shop counter.
We ordered 2x fish and chips w/mushy peas and with Curry sauce the total came to over £16. This was hugely over priced! When we sat down to eat, the chips were under cooked and tasteless! The portions were also pathetically small.

This chip shop is a waste of time and money and the staff are extremely rude! Avoid at all costs if you can!
