Warstones Fisheries & Pizza at Penn

My dad Vic always comes here when the family is visiting my grandmother. The best fish and chips, pizza and nan breads.

Great little place run by a father and son duo. All staff super friendly and personable. A wide variety of items including pizzas. Reasonable prices. If you take advantage of their delivery service you can include alcohol and/or ice creams.

Would have given no stars if possible. Soggy chips is an understatement - potato smoothie would have been crispier. Will not be returning.

Oily chips and soggy batter on the fish. A great disappointment on this visit, previously 5 star but the quality of my food has definitely let them down.

Waited hour and a half for cold soggy fish and chips, a cold mixed meat wrap dripping in grease. And as a friend just pointed out this place has been under "new management" after being scored the lowest by food and hygiene a numberof times, yet still has the same father and son running the place. Never again, disgusting place!!

Managed to squeeze an order in before closing time as working lates on a construction project nearby (warning, you’ll need cash so nip you Co-op behind to draw money out)

Staff were very polite, guy who served me told me about the battered chips to which I wasn’t sure about and he gave me some to try... and I was sold! Currently sat here tucking in, battered chips are lovely, lamb and chicken mixed donner really nice, food is hot. Just what you need before starting a late shift

Will be returning here when working in the area again 👍🏽
