Irchester Fish Bar

Awful. Nothing was cooked, not much on offer so I just bought chips. Got home and it's full of hair. Found two thick black hairs in one portion of chips. Whole thing went in the bin. Never again - dirty.

Fish was perfectly cooked to order and the small portion of chips was enough to feed 3 people. Friendly staff and was clean and tidy. Will definitely be going back there

Best fish and chip shop in the area that caters for vegetarians.
I go out of my way to buy their food.

Always freshly cooked chips and superb cod ( not the skinny tail some places serve)...and served with a smile 😊

The best fish and chips around . Is the only place we have fish and chips and every time still the same,very nice and delicious. Always fresh and very tasty 👏🤗 you can't compare with any other fish shops.

Every time I buy food I am made to wait for my meal, people that come in after me and order get their meal before. I will not be going there again

I have previously recommended the fish and chips from Irchester Fish Bar as the quality was excellent. It has been a few weeks since my last visit but this time I was disappointed. After a 30 minute wait which, is unusual, the fish that has always been exceptional in the past was dry and chewy and the chips were not as good as before.

Ordered cod and chips and a pineapple fritter. Had to wait whilst cooked to order which is fine however when mine arrived the order was incorrect and I was given 2 portions of chips and a pineapple fritter!

Couldn't wait for the order to be corrected but waste of money and food.

My first visit and not going to rush back.
