Best chips and sausage I’ve had in years. So much so, I made sure to stop again on way back from Scotland. The lady that served us in the Sunday was really nice and friendly.

The fish and chips was so good!
I chose this place almost randomly, but from now on I'll stop by every time I pass through Jedburgh!

We called last night (20th August 2022) and not sure where all these negative reviews come from. Fish was fried to order the batter was delicious and they certainly were not dripping in fat. Staff very polite and friendly. We will be calling again and next time I will be trying the gluten free.
Thank you

Pop in there last night on the way back from Edinburgh. Honestly it was Best Fish&Chips I ever had in UK. Fish cooked well.Batter thin and not greasy.Chips taste like homemade.Burger well done and not dry inside.
Staff are nice, polite and helpful as well.
I will definitely come back there in future

Went in at 12 lunchtime to get my nephew chicken nuggets and chips, chips absolutely inedible!! Dark brown in colour and hard, definitely the night from before chip’s reheated! Really disappointed as my nephew was so looking forward to it and when we got home and opened it up could only eat the chicken.

Few weeks ago had been driving north. Been a long day and stopped to get a drink. Found this chip shop open and I remember it used it be good from a few years ago. Now, however, I have had to restrict gluten in my diet so thought that was that. Walking past though I saw a golden sign declaring "gluten free fish and chips."
It was freezing cold but I waited outside as it was prepared. Truly amazing. Fresh, tasty and just an absolutely amazing experience. The opening hours on Google don't seem to match their actual opening times. So be warned.
