Farnham’s Boverton

This place is not as good as it used to be unfortunately. We paid £6 for a large fish that was long and thin and mostly batter. Very disappointed. We don’t mind paying a decent price for fish if you get a decent meal back. This was substandard. Chips not as tasty as they used to be either and generally small portion size.

How did these chips get past the frier and then the customer. Green potato unpleasant if not harmful

Nice chippy. It's a bit pricey though and the fish is pretty small for that price. A fork included in the takeaway box would be nice too. Other than that, yeah, it's a nice clean chip shop.

Great food and service but could do with a bit more of an atmosphere. It's a little bit sterile and makes you wish there was something personable, and the small and large chips difference didn't really warrant the price. But the small are a decent enough portion and if you want a cracking piece of fish come here!

Was looking forward to a usually nice sausage, chips and fruity curry sauce, collected from shop early, got home and the food was absolutely saturated in salt, too much salt my mouth was burning, such a shame, please show the young girl who was learning how much salt and vinegar is enough… ruined my evening meal

Best fish and chips I've had in years. And ime fussy.

Great food and great service. We turned with 18 hungry Scouts after an evening walking in the coast path and they were completely unfazed. Quick efficient service while still keeping their regular pre-order customers happy.
Thank you - so much better than the experience we had last year with a local rival 🙂
