M A Fish Bar

Chips tasted ok. Fish was disappointingly thin and appeared bigger than it actually was. For £6.5, it was not worth it. I don't understand the other reviews here that claim it's so great. I actually made a visit because of these reviews.

This standard of fish and chips would be considered bad anywhere in England.

Extremely disappointed with order placed. Ordered 2 x chicken curry, chips and rice. Only 1 arrived with curry. Also ordered small portion of chips which arrived in the same small size polystyrene container as the chicken curry, rice and chips but was only half full. Ended up having to make sandwiches as we were still hungry. Would NOT recommend and will NOT order from here again. Only positive out of the whole experience was a really pleasant and friendly Uber delivery guy.

I was just walking past this place and thought 'yum, I really fancy fish, chips and peas in a box' and it absolutely DELICIOUS! It was a bit of a wait for the fish but it was absolutely LOVELY when it finally arrived. The best thing though was the staff. They were absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful and don't tell anyone but I'd already finished my lovely fish and chips by the time I'd got back to Barry! Yum!

Our chippie of choice in Cardiff. Tasty chips, good range of fish, sausages, chicken etc too. Friendly staff and Covid safe. They also deliver direct from their website, minimum order is £10 plus a delivery charge, but worth it if you don't fancy going out, always arrive hot and ready to eat 😀

Great fish and chips, possibly the best chip shop in Cardiff. Reminds me of how the FAB fish bar on Albany Road used to be. Staff friendly, I cannot recommend this highly enough.
