Delicious food! Fresh and tasty! Large variety of fish and seafood! Very clean and modern! Quality of food is great! Before taking pictures I eat a delicious fish so no pictures with the fish but next time promised!

Brilliant fish and chips. Sadly they were out of stock on two sides that we ordered - mushy peas and tartare, but they tried everything to let us know and wrote a lovely note to us letting us know they had tried everything to contact us (order was placed through Uber eats and it’s awful at letting restaurants contact customers so I don’t hold this against them at all) and to apologise for the missing items. I really appreciate that honesty and effort from a business. Our helpings were huge, the chips were cooked perfectly and the fish was spot on - delicate flesh and crispy batter and still hot even after being in a delivery box on the ride from Whitchurch to our house in Taffs Well. Potato fritters are brilliant too. Cheers for a lovely Monday pick me up.

Absolutely superb quality of the fish, the battered sausages and chips. Friendly staff who make all the difference. Easily the best in the area and value for money.

Called in this evening as regular chippy was closed.
Fish bites and Pie were great but chips badly squashed some green and brown and scrag ends included.
Took a seat and waited and the narrow minded girl with specs behind the counter, said my Uber order would be ready shortly.
I guess as I was the only asian guy in there she jumped to the conclusion that asian folk only collect orders and do not actually buy fish and chips.
Quite offensive plus she needs to stop talking as everyone can hear what she is saying, be professional.
Will not return and I will wait until Yans Fish bar re opens next month.

I visited at lunchtime on a Thursday. The shop was not busy. I ordered a piece of cod and cod and chips. It took 15 minutes to get and the supposed fresh cod was actually supermarket bought in batter that was not cooked properly and the chips were cold and only half cooked. This cost me £15 and was not worth it

The food was bad, asked for fish well done and it was really wet& batter soggy. And chips were lukewarm and not nice . As pensioners having a treat really dissatisfied with quality

Very friendly staff, clean restaurant & tasty, reasonably priced food. Had chips with curry sauce on a cold rainy day 👌
