Top Of The Town

Having previously visited this chippy a few years ago returned to find it has since changed ownership. l ordered two portions of the special fish, chips and gravy costing £12 - the fish had very soggy batter and the chips were completely tasteless and dry, the gravy was ok, not good at all and left both my self and partner feeling queasy for the rest of the evening, will not be returning.

Best chippy in town. Lovely staff and eager to please. Portions are good and taste great. You can even park outside. They do close a little too early tho 😉

8 of us arrived (including 4 tired and hungry children) just after they’d closed but they very kindly agreed to cook up lots of food, and gave the kids each a drink. This place is run by the nicest people you can find. And the food was great too!

I had a gluten-free battered sausage and a regular sausage with chips and curry sauce. I was going to save some for the next day, but it was all so tasty, I ate it all. Great food, and great service. Thank you.

Stayed at windmill hill farm for 2 wks made this my regular fabulous rissoles and the other meals are really nice definitely missing out if u don't pay them a visit

Had a chip shop for 14 years 3 months closed in March 2022, not had chippy tea since then, till today friendly staff, chatty on collecting as ordered online which was easy to do lovely large cod with crispy batter, good chips and mushy peas to go with it. X4 people who all thoroughly enjoyed the food on holiday here so sadly can't become regulars,

This was the best fish I've ever had, cooked to perfection. The batter was light and fluffy, the fish was fresh. We had two regulars, they offer small regular and large, and they were both a good size. We've eaten at all the chippys in Pembroke now, and the fish here was by far the best. The service was quick, friendly, and helpful, and I really do recommend this place above any others in Pembroke. They offer good value as well, reasonably priced, good food, and good service, which is what a good chippy should be in my opinion. They cater for people with special dietary requirements as well.
