Simply Fish & Chips

Over priced and poor quality, paid 25 pound for 2 fish and chips with peas and curry sauce. Portion size was for a child, peas were cold and white? Used to be a good chippy would never order from here again.

Good quality fish and chips, as well as excellent tasty ordinary gravy.
Fish was cooked to order which means you are not getting freshly cooked food that has not gone soggy from being under a warming light.
Obviously service times can vary drastically when busy and because of cooking from fresh but a bit longer wait for toasting hot food is better than semi-cold soggy chips and cooling flat and sad battered fish.
Parking on the road is a dodgey affair because it is very busy and narrow with a lot of other parked cars, pedestrians and moving traffic as well as several dreaded double yellow no parking lines!

Staff were really friendly, chatted about the business, offerings and general chatter whilst we waited. Were lovely to the kids and the food was really nice. Said they could deliver to the local area as well so took a menu and will definaltely use again.

Sorry, but every time I have ordered fish and chips from here they've been quite horrible. Just handy as they deliver, but I've had too many bad meals from here that I won't be using them again.

Nice chip shop nice size portions chips were lovely and so was the fish not greasy will pop in again when I pass through worth a visit

It's not often something gets a 5* from me, as just like everything in life there is always room for improvement. However, there isn't anything more you could expect from here.
Ordering online is very easy and simple, you can pay by your card online, which in actual fact this is the only takeaway place in the area you can do this.
Food arrived on time with great delivery service, quality of the food was perfect, great portions sizes and food was hot.
Second time ordering here and both times very impressed.

Don't know why this place won awards?! Portion of fish and chips way too small and literally half the size of what you'd get in most chippies. ( I was still hungry after finishing them!! ) To illustrate, you get your chips in a burger size carton! The fish was nice, ( but nothing special ) but the chips were awful. They are very dry and taste more like oven chips than your average chippy style chips. Really failing to understand what is so special about this place??
