Eddies Chippy

This chippy is spot on. Well worth a try. We always use it if we're in town. It's spotlessly clean and there's a wide range of tasty choices if you're in a hard to please mood. It's all cooked perfectly and the staff are really friendly and will always have a chat with you. I suggest you give it a go.

At first you'll notice it's lovely looks but don't let that fool you. Bought a chicken burger that looked like it was scooped off the floor. They ask"what would you like on the burger" so I replied with "cheese and lettuce please" once I received my burger I don't usually check the contents but this I hat to see.

No cheese that I paid for, a minging flat looking piece of chicken with barely any lettuce.

When I went back and asked about it they said "you'll have to pay extra for cheese" when I've already paid? No refund offered or another burger.

Absolutely shocking place.

1.45 today Friday - Chips were hard looked like been reheated and nearly all were end pieces what a waste of £2.30

Always had a chicken royale but last time the fresh chicken was replaced by a cheap frozen chicken burger & the price had gone up rather pay more to keep the same burger very poor

Lovely staff great food very clean and nice environment, you can sit in or take away

A very very poor fish and chips today!! This is the worst I’ve had in 75 years.
Fish was so small and flat and the chips were end bits, I will not be going there again and I recommend you don’t either.

I had a fish from eddies today, it was gorgeous, 2 and a half inches thick, lovely batter, it was huge. The nicest fish from any chip shop ive ever had. Im going to be going there for more
