Shillingford Traditional Fish & Chips

1st time visiting. Read great reviews on Facebook. The order took 24 minutes despite noone else in queue. Then when we got to the car and checked the bag to find the double cheese and bacon burger was missing. My husband went back and when he came back 5 minutes later he was given a battered chicken burger not the double cheese and bacon burger. So back to the shop he went where he waited again. The whole time the rest of our food was getting cold! When we finally got the complete order and got the food home it was luke warm, the chips were either overcooked or half cooked. Will not be returning. Very very disappointed 😞 a water of over £30!!

Amazing! Excellent delivery time. Super fresh and delicious, will definitely be back. Oh and your delivery driver is lovely. A real credit to you. :)
Highly recommend this place.

I had traditional fish and chips which was ok but not great. Batter was pretty soggy and didn't really live up to expectations. Add to that the long wait for shop walk-ins and it was something of a let down.

They don’t really listen to your order as i asked for 4 sausages and only had too but when I phoned them to tell them their attitude was shocking the manager said he cba to come into the phone. Rubbish customer care plus trying to get a order at 6 and they stopped taking orders but as stated on their website order until 7 but they also don’t say that they stop taking order at 6.30 on their website. Jokes!!

Probably the best Fish and chip shop in Neath. Fish I had was excellent, and the cheese and onion rissoles are to die for.
Staff friendly and polite, oh chips are great to.

Shillingfords is simply the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Being born in a seaside town I am pretty fussy when it comes to my fish and chips but these are simply faultless.

I always come here as they fry the fish fresh for you and it is sustainable…and the batter is always crispy!
Awards are definitely well deserved and the price is very reasonable @ £5 for the mini cod box 👍

Nice chips and sausage, will deff go there again
