Chips are mixed with old chips and the place is full of flies definitely deserves reporting to heath and hygiene. Staff were ignorant I told them several times about the Infestation and the one who spoke English said they have always had flies .almost £40 spent there and not even an apology .I did speak out and informed all patrons they will be fighting off flies .this would be zero stars .I hate being negative but awful awful place. You can see dried chips in photo I thought add sauce still unedible and worse with the flies

Ordered 2 gluten free battered fish accompanied by mushy peas and chips plus a pot of tea for two. Service took 10 minutes and we dined in. Quality was excellent. We had originally planned to eat at the pier F&C venue but they rudely stated that they were not doing GF as planned and agreed with us on Tuesday. They did us a favour and well done this establishment.

Lovely and stylish cafe and restaurant. We had fish and chips to takeaway and it was delicious and really well priced. Friendly staff, portions were great and food was served piping hot, will definitely be stopping here again when we’re next in the area :)

Great fish and chips. Comes with tarta sauce and a slice of lemon, never seen that in a takeaway before nice touch. Really clean inside as well.

Very disappointed. Ordered from deliveroo a Turkey Christmas burger which sounded good and was expecting a great burger considering the price. Disappointed (which doesn't begin to cover it) to find of of those rice crispy covered chicken burgers you get from Iceland. What an absolute joke...

Ordered a burger and chips from Deliveroo on Saturday 10/12/2022. I spent the whole night being sick. Food I ordered in the past had been pretty good but it’s now put me off ordering again.

Awful place!! Ordered a veggie burger and chips, there were 27 chips in the box and the overcooked veggie burger was just slapped in a dry bun with nothing else to accompany it. I did leave a polite but negative review on the Express Chip shop Facebook page but it was quickly removed by, I’m assuming their admin team. Which begs the question ... is it any wonder they have a 4.7 star rating if they are selective over the reviews? I shall just let my feet do the talking and never buy food from here again and judging by what other locals have said .. they feel the same!!

Ordered takeaway fish platter which was okay but I had the chicken burger. It was a small piece of chicken between 2 bits of bread. No sauce, no salad, no nothing. Very disappointed
