Hot Box Fast Food

Went here about a montha ago, where a customer was being very unreasonable. I have to say the staff were fantastic they dealt with the situation with grace and patients. There food is lovely, great price and very clean I will be going back.

My order was placed around 20:25pm. 2 pizzas and a bag of chips.
Estimated delivery was 21:35pm. Understandable for a Friday evening.
After it got to 22:00 I tried to call the restaurant. A mobile number is on website, but all you get is a message that says “mail box full, try again later” and it hangs up.
I used just eat to ask for a call back which says is no more than 5 minutes. This was 22:05pm.

It got to 22:40 and I had to ask somebody who lived near by to pop in and check for me where the order was. I asked if they could get the restaurant to call me. They refused to call me.

The person I asked to go check my order, handed over their own mobile so I could speak to them. All I had was “it was the new guy and we are busy”. I understand it gets busy but I am then told the delivery driver has left and they can’t deliver my order so I’ve had to get someone to pick my order up over 2 hours after I placed it. I asked what happens with my delivery charge as I’m having it picked up and they have given me a bottle of Pepsi which costs half of the delivery charge.

Absolutely appalling service. 23:00pm and I’m about to get my order and eat.

Hotbox FASTFOOD? Far from that.

We have been ordering from HotBox since moving into the area and although their pizza is good, their delivery service is absolutely awful. Consistently the orders are at least 30 minutes late and sometimes over an hour.
Unfortunately for us, it's the only halal pizza take-away in the area so we are somewhat limited in options, so we have let it slide in the past.
Today I placed the order specifically for 8.40 as we were expecting guests. At 8.50 i was told by the manager that the pizza was in the oven and would be with me no later than 9.15. At 9.25 i left my house in order to collect, only to be told it had just left, yet was delivered a full hour late at 9.40.
Asked for a full refund in store, only to be fobbed off returning home to a barely luke-warm pizza.
I don't often write negative reviews but today was the last straw and I'd rather drive 20 minutes than endure such a amateur delivery service.

Food didn't arrive, staff were rude when they do finally answer the phone they hang up on you

Lucky I can’t add pictures on here ABSOLOUTly disgusting! The fish was stuck to the paper all soggy then it got even worse there was hard bits felt like plastic all through it! The rice chicken n curry tasted awful to don’t waste ur money they’ve turned the mobile phone off I have no other number for them! Disgusting wouldn’t even give it to my dog

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Absolutely shocking second time I have ordered from them and second time it was late and completely wrong order and they don’t even have a phone for you to contact them both times had to drive down to replace there food to be met with clueless workers that all stand and stare at each other speak amongst them selves and just blame the driver and tell you to contact just eat

Joke of a service defo won’t be back stick with pizza palace from now on

Fastest delivery I have had in months food piping hot and really tasty

The food is absolutely disgusting. I will never order from this place again and would recommend that no eats this filth they call acceptable food. There was hairs found on the pizza. Burger had what looked like bits off wood in it. Every thing was full of grease. The wings were soggy and on top of all that the food took 2 hours to turn up and when i called the restaurant i was met with disgusting attitude and told it would be 5 minutes but then it took and 45. Worst experience from a takeaway. I think this place should be boycotted and taken off the market.
