Stoke Holy Cross Fish & Chips

Usually come here for are fish and chips and always happy but tonight I'm not happy at all.
My girls went in and ordered a battered burger fish cake and chips, battered burger sausage and chips small portion of chips and curry sauce it came to nearly £15, we didn't even get the small portion of chips as we checked before leaving shop, they wanted more money for the forgotten chips and this is when I was told how much they had already been charged. I went in to question this and asked to see my receipt where I was refused and given the chips and told to leave and that everything was right. The shop was not busy so was not causing a scene and i was polite but found you very rude tonight. Will not be using this fish and chip shop again.

Have visited here a few times lately and I must say this has become my favourite fish and chip shop.
Portions always good, chips are crispy even after the journey home.
We've had sausages, cod , haddock and the spring roll which is my favourite.
I feel this is the best fish and chip shop in the area and happy to travel a little further to get a good meal.

Absolutely devine Cod and chips. The fish is cooked in such a way, that it flakes away and not dry. The batter is by far the best around. Not dripping with oil, but crispy and tender.

Ordered food for a family of 7, good value and everyone enjoyed it. Cash only luckily we had enough on us.

Fantastic Fish & Chips. Extremely friendly staff and a really quick turn around. If 10 stars was an option I would have given that. Well worth it, and now the Chip Shop we use.
