Harry Ramsden's Fish & Chips

Fresh Cod fish & chips. Tasty and well done. The portion was great and generous. Quick service. The staff gave me excellent advice on my choices. Average prices. Its served very hot so you have to wait a little before you can eat. I would definitely repeat each time I visit this outlet.

Just finished eating here. Ordered a small cod and regular chips. Very tasty and fresh, can't fault my food at all. it was peak time and they were quite busy. Staff were friendly and efficient. Regarding price, (I know everything has gone up) I do think a couple of pence short of £10 is very expensive, especially as it was a small cod. You will pay a couple of quid less than this for a regular size cod and chips at a decent local chippy. Thankfully I get blue light discount which bought it to £7 which was more realistic. If it wasn't for this it would be a 3 star review just because of the inflated price. Like I said though, the food was very nice and cooked fresh. Would definitely visit again, but only because of my blue light discount.

Really enjoyed the Fish and chips we bought at Fish & Chips 149. The chips were crisp on the outside and light and fluffy in. The fish was crispy, white, and tasted excellent. All served with a smile, and attention to detail of my order.

As they had a few big orders and my wait was 10 minutes just to order and I was next in the queue then the wait for it to be cooked.

Absolutely appalling food. Food was basically thrown into the box, the steak and ale pie had totally fallen apart before even being served....when asked if its normal for then food to be served in such a manner, guy behind counter simply shrugged his shoulders.
Not what's expected from such a brand.

Ended up throwing most of it away. Not what I expected at all.

Really busy Thursday lunchtime and the team were really efficient. The food was also excellent.

Excellent service from Colin this one is a keeper! polite we’ll mannered and even though we only had two coffees with sausage cobs, he still took he time to offer complimentary sauces. More the we usually get here!

I have not eaten worse fish&chips Very dry very small. Very old cake. I think the fries had to be left for 2 hours and waited for me. Probably they felt sorry to throw it into the trash. But for the client, you can sell. I do not want to believe for the quality of zero points out of 10
