The Little Fish Shop

Following a long walk on the beach we came here for a nice lunch. I don't see Huss very often in my local fish and chip shops so had a regular Huss and chips, with a couple of drinks and came to a very reasonable price at just over a tenner.

Chips were crispy and fresh, not at all oily or greasy. The fish was very nice too and the batter was just right for me. Service was quick too so I didn't wait long to eat.

I got cod and chips from here on Saturday early evening. The fish was cooked beautifully (and had the skin removed without me having to ask 😊), the batter was crispy and the chips weren't too shabby either... And all still very reasonably priced.

Couldn't come to the seaside and not have a Fish and Chips! Couldn't fault it, ordered a small and a large cod and chips with a side of scampi and 2 drinks. Fresh to order, affordable price and piping hot. Went and ate it overlooking the beach.

One of the best fish & chips restaurants we have found, it also has a take away counter. A must try place if passing, lovely staff & fabulous fish & chips, parking available outside, but if full lots of parking opposite behind the shops (castle road car park, with views of the sea)

We sat in, great service, massive portions, good price, lovely food gluten free available everyday and ok for coeliacs, will definitely be back!

visated today and overheard a customer ask the diffrance between squid and calamari to which the cook said there the same thing. A fish and chip shop that thinks squid and calamari are the same. I think they need a more experienced cook. 🤔

Great service,friendly, quick and efficient. The fish and chips very good, the batter on the fish wasn't thick and greasy and the chips were ideal. We also had a vegi berger, very tasty.
